2011 Red Deer Community Sport Awards
Presented by Primary Care Network
Nominate a coach, official, volunteer, athlete or business supporter to be recognized at the Red Deer Community Sport Awards and Banquet on Friday, March 9, 2012.
All nominees must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Residency: Resident of Red Deer city OR resident of Red Deer County. OR
- Must have participated on a sport/team that is based in the municipalities of Red Deer or Red Deer County.
- Sport: Must be a member in good standing with club, sport organization and PSO-NSO. Lifetime Achievement and Volunteer of the Year award nominees are exempt.
- Other: Awards will be based on performance and activity in the calendar year previous to the awards (ie. awards for March 2012 will be based on performance from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011).
Please note that the application deadline for all awards is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012.
Nomination instructions

- Submit the completed nomination package, including the nomination form, supporting documentation and digital photographs to rob.meckling@reddeer.ca.
Nominators are responsible to ensure that all components of the nomination packages are submitted by the deadline of 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2011.

Under 15 Certificates of Recognition – 2 boys or 2 girls or 1 boy & 1 girl
Junior Male & Female Athlete of the Year – under 19 as of December 31, 2011
Open Male & Female Athlete of the Year – 19+ as of December 31, 2011
Senior Male & Female Athlete of the Year – 55+ as of December 31, 2011
